MPs put pressure on Government about mesothelioma issues

This week, the Government faced questions on plans for a fund of last resort for workers who cannot trace their employers’ insurers.
Following a similar line of questioning last week, Conservative MP Tracey Crouch and Labour MP Nic Dakin have persisted in quizzing DWP minister Chris Grayling on support for mesothelioma sufferers, and when a fund of last resort will be introduced.
Hugh Bayley MP asked whether the Government would consider introducing a nationwide fast-track system for mesothelioma claims, as is currently in place in the Royal Courts of Justice.
