A background to Terry Maylin, founder of TM Law

Introduction to Terry Maylin and TM Law

TM Law was founded by Terry Maylin in 2011.

Terry was originally a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives from 1994 until he qualified as a solicitor in 2000.

Terry has been employed in the legal industry since 1983. He worked as a litigation fee earner in Essex until 1989. From 1989 to 2001, he worked for a well-respected East London Law firm in their litigation department, specialising in personal injury claims as well as debt collection and general commercial disputes.

Terry then worked for a Billericay solicitor running their litigation department for 10 years. His areas of specialisms grew to include settlement agreements, employment law and residential landlord and tenant work, along with much more serious cases in personal injury including brain injuries, life-altering injuries and fatal accidents.

Terry set up TM Law to cater for the needs of both the local business community and individuals requiring help with legal issues, in particular personal injury, employment, settlement agreements, commercial disputes, debt recovery and landlord and tenant matters.

With the addition of Aidan Squire to the firm, TM Law now handles wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, commercial landlord and tenant leases and sales and acquisitions of small businesses.
