The client was a groundworker on a building site building new homes. He was crossing the site when he was driven into by a 25 ton excavator which hit his legs and caused serious damage.
He also suffered nightmares and flashbacks as he believed he was about to die.

We obtained an admission of liability from the building company’s insurers
Not only did we pursue compensation but it was clear that the client needed much more help to get better than the NHS could offer and so we engaged with the defendants insurers and arranged for an assessment as to his rehabilitation needs.
This led to a program of rehabilitation including physiotherapy and psychological counselling all of which helped him to get to the point where he could manage his pain and live with the injuries on a day to day basis.
We had a joint settlement meeting with the defendants insurers which led to a substantial financial settlement for the client who can now move on with his life albeit a very different life to that he had prior to the accident.
